Sawyer Staffing Partners is recruiting a Commercial Lines Account Manager for a well-established insurance agency in Lutz, FL. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a seasoned account manager who can confidently take the reins of the owner's book of business, with a focus on construction and trades accounts. About the role You'll be the day-to-day steward of the agency owner's commercial book — approximately $5 million in premium, concentrated in construction and trades. You'll own the full account-management lifecycle while partnering closely with the owner to retain and grow the book. What you'll do Manage and service the owner's commercial lines book (~$5M), with an emphasis on construction and trades accounts Handle renewals, remarketing, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance Serve as the primary client contact, delivering proactive, high-touch service Review coverages for gaps and round-out/cross-sell opportunities Coordinate with carriers and underwriters on submissions and negotiations Keep records accurate in the agency management system What you bring 3+ years of commercial lines account management, ideally with construction/trades accounts Active Florida 2-20 (General Lines) license Strong knowledge of commercial coverages (GL, WC, commercial auto, umbrella, builders risk, etc.) Experience with an agency management system (AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar) Excellent communication, organization, and client-service skills Established book, supportive owner, competitive pay, and room to grow.
